- A polite term referring to the listener’s house
- or home, showing respect.
- Can also refer to the listener’s husband (polite).
- Used as a polite second-person pronoun,
- similar to ‘you’ when addressing someone respectfully,
- often implying ‘your family’ or ‘your household’.
- In modern usage, it refers to a person
- with obsessive interests, often in anime/manga.
- This meaning is less common for N4 but worth noting.
