Approximately; about; roughly; generally; almost; entirely
- Indicates an approximation in quantity, time, or degree,
- similar to ‘about’ or ‘roughly’ in English.
- It can also convey a sense of ‘generally’ or ‘on the whole’,
- describing a broad overview or a typical situation.
- When paired with negative expressions,
- it strongly emphasizes the negative meaning,
- translating to ‘hardly’ or ‘not at all’.
