Definition: 意味
as if; as though; completely
- Used to express that something is exactly like something else,
- or that a situation appears to be a certain way.
- It emphasizes strong comparison or an unreal feeling.
- Often followed by のようだ (no you da) or みたいだ (mitai da).
- Can also mean ‘completely’ or ‘entirely’ when emphasizing totality,
- especially in negative sentences.
