Definition: 意味
to be (animate), to exist (animate), to stay
- Used for the existence of animate things, such as people and animals.
- It indicates that someone or something alive is present in a specific location.
- Can also mean “to stay” or “to reside” in a particular place.
- It is distinct from 「ある (aru)」 which is used for inanimate objects.
